Dick Fife, who has a background as a chef, is highly skilled in combining rich flavours and ingredients and carefully crafting them into beer.

The titles are yet another highlight for a small operation that is recognised around the world for its unique beer. The Dux de Lux has seven permanent brands of beer brewed on site and a range of seasonal beers available. The Dux de Lux motto remains the same . . . “the Natural Choice”.

The Beer Story

Synonymous with quality beer production, our in house breweries continue to gain recognition with awards from national and international beer competitions. Crisp clean lagers, creamy Black Shag Stout, real ginger - ginger beer (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and the notorious Nor’Wester Strong Ale. We are proud to produce a fine range of premium beers for all palates.

The first brews to be born within the Dux family of beers were the ever popular Dux Lager and Hereford Bitter - brands you still see today. The beer family has now grown to include 7 permanent brands on tap with an exceptional range of beers specifically brewed for each season.

All Dux de Lux beers are brewed onsite, naturally, with full malts and no preservatives. With a background as a chef, Masterbrewer Richard ‘Dicky’ Fife enjoys cleverly crafting flavours and ingredients and continues to explore the new world of brewing beer today.
